Laboratory Equipment:

1.     Robotic Arm

Robotic arm has been covered a variety of fields, including manufacturing industry, medical treatment, security control and other application. It plays as an assistant, an operator or even a work partner,like“Jarvis”!

DFLG6DOF is a bionic robotic arm, it consists of six servo motors, corresponding to the arm, elbow, wrist (2 degrees of freedom), five joints and one rotating base in all. Each joint can move in a certain range, and the base can be rotated about 180 degrees. With 24 channel veyron servo controller, all action can be controlled via PC software, supporting online debug and wireless control. In a word, this is a high cost performance, easy to use robot arm. It is real a good robot demonstration teaching platform and DIY robotic arm.

The servo can be connected directly to the arduino IO expansion shield or the Romeo robot microcontroller, and arduino servo library makes it easier to use.




2.     Poppy Humanoid Robot


Poppy Humanoid integrates advanced robotic features in a modular and easy-to-use open source platform.Based on advanced Robotis actuators and neat 3D printed parts, it allows for anyone (artists, educators, developpers or scientists) to freely use it and hack it in their very own way.The robot is designed to be fully hacked, therefore the following specifications are the standard ones and can be easily modified or upgraded to fit specific needs.

3.     Rain Sensing Viper Mechanism

It consist of maruti omni viper assembly and IR sensor. The input from IR sensor is send to arduino board which activate the relay to operate viper motor. This platform help to understand the working of rain sensing viper and also enables them to experiments with different set of input and sensors.



4.     Auto simulator

It consist of vehicle model operated through joystick with ardiuno interface. It has three linear servos and one motor to simulate vehicle motion. This platform provide to study mathematical model of vehicle.  



5.     Lego Robotic Kit

Activities done under this lab

1.      Training to student on 3DExperience Platform where they undergo following modules like Part design, Assembly, Mechanism Design, Dymola Behavior Modeling, Simulia and Delmia. Training is conducted at College under the mentorship of 3DPLM

2.      These selected students undergoes Dassult certification.

3.      Training on lego kit as audit course.

4.      Project and product development for final year project.

5.      Support and training to students to participate in Akruti competition.
